Reviews for "Cats on Mars"

I enjoyed this little game quite a lot. It's impressive to see the amount of thought and effort poured into creating this little planet of cats. I love how every cat had something funny or quirky to say, sometimes with changing dialogue which made exploring the whole world a worthwhile task. Running came in handy for skimming through the buildings.

What I found very charming was the colorful, animated text used for certain words, gives the game a cute, bubbly personality. It reminds me of reading old Geronimo Stilton books (children's novel).

I didn't mind the gameplay at all, personally finding all levels quite easy to score very close to %100. The final level certainly was quite difficult, which it should be, I had a couple goes at that. It was still manageable though.

Small issue is that sometimes the levels require all four movement keys to be pressed at the same time which is mildly awkward to pull off, since I use three fingers for WASD/arrow keys, but I guess you could just utilize more fingers to hit the fourth button.

Overall, I applaud the worldbuilding in this game and the unique personality given to it.

This game started out okay but things started tumbling down. It's unplayable.
Bad things include:
*calling the player trash
*changing the way DDR works (scrolling from all sides)
*requiring near perfection to pass levels
*The four-way press (that doesn't register)
*A superflous run mechanic
Also, why such a detailed an elaborate world for 3 mini-games? Is this secretly an art piece on why capitalism is bad?

Really loved the game however that last dance is suuper unforgiving and unnecessarily hard, other than that this game is pretty solid.

i love cats so much !!!!!!🐱🐱

I love the RPG aspect of this game and especially like the music, dialogue, humor and art, The first three dance segments are fine, but the dance competition's difficulty spike is pretty unfair and confusing. If you were to fix that, the game would definitely be a favorite.
