I like it but when i had to use the key of the stairs it dosent work, any idea of how can i make it work?
This game was nice, it really gave me old-school vibes or RPG Horror games, the most things about this game that reminded me was Ao Oni. It felt pretty similar, when it came to the monster chasing you, the music, even the breaking of the glass (It was a plate in Ao Oni).
Story 6.5/10 & Characters 5/10
The story is linear, the intro is a really good, it gives a good detail on what should you expect when going into the game. in the mid part (the house), It didn't peak much interest to me, up until the mirror broke, the phone call. Now at the end, there's not much details about "Why?" like "who is the monster?" it's quite a mystery, kinda like the Oni's (Demon's) in the game Ao Oni.
There's not a lot to go on about the characters, there's too little too go off on, or build some sort of connection with the characters. But you do get a general idea about some of them.
Art 7/10
I love the art style! It really fits in the games setting, and it goes well with the horror. I like the expressions Rachael has. It's not too simple, and I love the colours. If this game was even longer, I'm sure the art could have even more potential.
Sound 5.5/10
The tracks are above average, felt like most of them are looped if i remember, but they're quite good. But what it did really on me, was how creepy it is!
Gameplay 8/10
Most of the gameplay elements look similar to most RPG maker games (is this game made in RPG maker? idk). The puzzle wasn't difficult. I just opened notepad, took down the movie names, and whabam! I could see it have more potential.
Overall 6.5/10
It's a good short horror RPG game with most of the elements similar to other RPG horror games. It creeped me out. But i'll sure be back for more!

Edit: Forget to mention, I liked the "Lahey" character, The Trailer Park Boys reference :) And I liked the plot twist at the end where the real Liu didn't actually contact the police, Good stuff.

game was AMAZING, loved it ! i feel like it would be better if you added a distance sound to the hone ringing to make it easier to find. but overal 10/10 would play again!
