Reviews for "Ridgewood Road"

i enjoyed it in its entirety, short but really atmosphere building. unlike many others this game has no jumpscares or cheap tatics, it uses the charcters and the space really well and something as small as opening a door gave suspense

Really good, short horror.

love it but can be a bit tricky at times. the long hallway part is super long and take forever but im glad that you give hints if people get stuck. it has wonderful horror aspects and the ambient noise is perfect

It had me shook to the core.I probably would already leave the game if i was a kid. lmao. Anyways , as for the constructive criticism. I think it could have be better as to a where indication of the causes that certain thing happens. For examples why did it happen. I know where it come from as a mysteries. But figured out there is lack of detail to make a factor of urban legends. It is simply not enough. Gameplay is there. feels like there is no bug. But could really use a lot of puzzle and interaction quest to finish the game. Seems way to simple to finish it by fixing a certain broken stuff. Game could developed more from art byte style. Like adding voice actor and better animation. Seems like it is almost genuine .. stories could expand more than just incident. That it would lead to another chapter of craziness besides what happen at lisa house's. Like a follow up stories.

Short and enjoyable, pixelart is timeless, well done. Question is Lisa a reference to PT and the shuddering?

Jack responds:

not intentionally, but i can see the similarities now that you mention it. this game was mainly inspired by david lynch stuff like inland empire, twin peaks, and mulholland drive, so it contains a lot of references to all that sort of stuff in particular.
