I'm an idiot. Last year I forgot to open the game on the 18th and 19th. Yesterday I opened the game, and today as well, only to realize I forgot to open the present yesterday.

as long as you're logged in on newgrounds, all your skins should be available
if you delete your cookies on your browser it will switch you back to tankman, but that's it.
