But then, it wouldn't be jump dash would it?

Listen, I know you put some effort in here. But it's just too tedious, and some sections can take plenty of time. And it really doesn't control well. Maybe you can fix it in the future.
Unfortunately, this is unplayable in Firefox and possibly some other browsers as many will use the Space key to scroll down the page. This means that every ‘jump’ will move the user down into the comments section. I recommend you lock the key down in the future, or use neutral keys, such as K or L (if going with WASD controls)
Edit: ok, the game is playable if the default controls are changed (score changed to reflect), but the mechanic aren’t very forgiving. That you can only dash when you jump and can only attack enemies by dashing means the enemies on the ground are near impossible to get unless you jump up to them. Sound, music, and graphics also need an upgrade.
