Bomb timer is a bit too short and game needs sfx, but has potential as a neat little time waster.

EDIT: Got the sounds, all good... but it does get tricky!

Thanks for the feedback! Are you hearing no sfx at all? That may be a bug. Otherwise I agree - looking back at it now I can see a few places where some extra sfx are needed.

The bomb timer may indeed be a bit too tight - unfortunately something I might not have noticed having practised the mechanic so much during testing myself 🙃

It's a really fun puzzle, but it took me over 30 minutes to beat the boss.

Completing the base game was a bit tedious, but the hardmode boss is very fun! The squid relaxing to only an upward facing position is a bit annoying, but I guess it adds to the difficulty. Good idea and use of the graphic kit for only a day.

Yeah haha the relaxing upwards thing was something I was in two minds about - kinda annoying but I was worried there'd be no difficulty otherwise. Still not sure it's balanced right now. Thanks for the feedback!

no minimap is annoying, I wasted a huge amount of time on checking if I had go across every passage; the map obstacle is lacking of variation, which make it boring to repeat same trick every time. The boss fight was very good, no idea why is it a pumpkin though.

key point to win in extra boss fight:
1.never toss bomb while moving, this will make you bump into bullet area and not able to escape

2.try to move as close as possible to map edge to buy time for aiming

3.bomb explodes at 7th second, the ideal timing to toss bomb is at 6th second; aim on boss when you are far and aim on top side of boss when you are close.

4.release space to adjust the speed so that you can sneak into bullet gap without changing direction too much.

Lmao the pumpkin was just something I grabbed from the art kit, no particular reason. I just thought, hey, I don't have much time so lets add tentacles to that thing and call it a boss battle.

I like the idea of a minimap. I have no idea how I'd go about implementing it though since I've never tried something like that before. Maybe I should do some research! Thanks for the feedback

Hmm I didnt get the medals. Might be due to a timeout idk. +1 for a minimap or a map accessible from menue. Good game.
edit: It worked after restarting and defeating the last boss again.

If you want to give it another go then pressing "continue" from the main menu after finishing the game will load from the boss chamber. If you do try for the achievements again and you see anything in the web console (something like ctrl+shift+J or ctrl+shift+I), please send it to me!
