Reviews for "Karco -- Stained Chrome --"

Drums are cool good Mixing

The buzzing bass was well mixed around the rest of the music. Review my stuff
Let me know what track you're most fond of

Karco responds:

Aah. You already reviewed this, which is one of my favorites... so try Troposphere, Aster Revisted and Nova. Much appreciated. It's a bit of a small review, but I can get around to reviewing your stuff if I have the time. Thanks for the review, glad you like it.

Karco goes to Industrial?

Well, for some reason I was looking at the advertisement thread, and I seen you. I was interested in this, because you are damn good. But then you said it's industrial, so I had to check it out. I was not dissapointed :P

It started playing, and thought it wasn't going to be that different, but it was! You should definatly try making more industrial stuff like this, it makes me giddy inside. And probably others giddy inside too...

I guess the only thing is that the reverb stayed the same a wee bit too much for my taste (but that shouldn't be much of a problem compared to my ADD beat audio :P)

Great work!

Karco responds:

Yep, this makes me giddy inside too! :D I did a very good job with this, I think... my only flaw is it could have been a bit longer but I didn't do that badly at two minutes and twenty seconds, in my opinion.

Reeverb staying the same? I don't see the point in changing it, really... meh.

But thanks for the review and I'm glad you liked it. Someday I might make another... >:)

Nice

I loved whatever pad u used here. Not only did it kick ass, but you used it with some serious skill. The drums went in nicely too. The only criticism I have for this song is that it was a little too slow to start. With my ADD, I only kept listening 'cuz I hoped it would get faster (which it did XD). Overall, great job. Keep 'em coming :).

Karco responds:

Yeah, I have Vanguard to thank for that pad. :D You should get it.

ADD, huh? Okay, sure, if it means you listen to the song all the way through. :P

Glad you liked my song and thanks for the review. :)

Wow...

Great song.

I feel sad because you have all these huge-antic reviews, and I give a one-liner... T_T

Karco responds:

Aah, don't worry about it. True, bigger reviews filled with more criticism are by far better, but here's a hint: if you know how to make a one-liner funny, it can potentially be just as good. :D

And if you want to write long reviews, it'll come with time. Though I was writing two or three-paragraph reviews to begin with. XD

Wow... I wrote three paragraphs in response to a one (perhaps two) liner... oh, irony. XD Thanks for the review, glad you like it.

Late, LATE edit (2-10-08) just because I can: Three SMALL paragraphs. ;D

Crazy/Calm.

Love the echoing synth at the start, it really gives this track alot of originality. The octaves you chose are CRAZY! But, they are contained and calm. It's a weird feeling for the listener. The beat was very nice, really dirty and driving and demanding, it was a nice choice. I'm not a new age expert AT ALL, but this is really fresh. I really like the ending where EVERYTHING went high end, it's a cool effect the pros use alot, it was really enjoyable. Overall a very fresh, clean, dirty, crazy yet calm track, that just lacks something, maybe a spark or a new hat or instrument?

Cheers. :)

Karco responds:

Crazy, huh? I just stayed around the C5 area on the piano roll and went up or down from there. It's the synth, I guess. :P

High end? I don't really know what you mean... the part where everything just shuts down? I'd call that low end, judging by ear... but oh well.

Nothing else to add... Thanks for the review, glad you like it. :)
