Ah, this makes me miss going to Geek'd Con. Couldn't have it this year for, well, reasons. There's always next year though. Of course that's on the off chance people get their heads out of the asses with this pandemic
On the topic of showering before showing up [which should be a no-brainer, but again, people are stupid], Geek'd Con and other local fan gatherings here usually have this booth for something called "Man Made Soap". The guys behind it are awesome
