nice and simple game. would love different kind of controls, though (accelerate 'up' arrow, break- 'down', turning with 'left' and 'right'). but it might be only me ;)

The controls are intentional as they are the main mechanic of the game. I've tried the accelerate/brake control scheme in Stealthscape and it wasn't fun, it was clunky, and it completely changed what kind of game Stealthscape really was. Glad you enjoyed, and thanks for the feedback, but the controls are here to stay :)
Great game but I think medals help to attract more players who want to raise the score. I finished several levels and arrived at the second appearance of the red ship, I give a score of 4.5 for that game.

I've gone ahead and added medals. I didn't even know I could interface with the newgrounds API with PICO-8, but I've done it! Will see if I can add leaderboard support some time tomorrow.
