Never thought I'd get invested in a story about a blue square wearing sunglasses yet here we are.
The gameplay itself could be a little faster; the player character, enemies, platforms... Everything feels a bit too slow paced for the general urgency the story gives off. And talking about player movement, it also feels kinda floaty. I mean like you're underwater the whole time. Gravity's a bit more sudden than that.
One final thing is that there's a reason there's usually an option to skip or speed up the dialogues: going through the same lines three times to get all endings just gets old but for the rest good job all round.
Gotcha. Thanks for the feedback!
The floatyness and slowness was mostly aimed towards novice players who aren't used to fast paced games. And if I made it more fast/ more gravity, it'll require to too much technical skill.
You're right about skipping dialogue. I thought by having skip, the player wouldn't read the dialogue and be confused when making choices. In hindsight that was a bad choice. I'll be sure to keep that in mind for future games.
