Reviews for "Sublo and Tangy Mustard #15 - Picnic"

In the end I could just hear The Friends theme song playing in my head.

Compared to this series, I don't think I've witnessed anything that is even half as expressive in its portrayal of people running up stairs.

Aaron-Long responds:

hahaha I do it a lot don't I!

Dude, I think this like the highest score I've ever seen on a cartoon! I simply HAVE to give it a perfect score! It's definitely the best episode in the series. Katie's hilarious in this. Still, it's great to see this subject matter being taken seriously. The animation is amazing.

The characters aren't that well detailed, but they still show a lot of great movements in this. Is this Clock Day or something? Everything has a rating of over 4.00 today! I'm starting to feel more for these characters. I love how down to earth it is. Eh, you'll probably throw in supernatural stuff sooner or later.

Aaron-Long responds:

Well the Halloween episode (#7) definitely had some supernatural stuff! Glad you liked it, and yeah there's a lot of great stuff on Newgrounds!

Feels like this might be the first time we really see Sublo and Tango in a natural setting... it's like their unnatural setting. And Katy with an unnaturally big role too, and the former two way more humble than I'm used to.

It all feels both so different and so familiar... but like such a suitable way to end it too. Slice of life advice and all. And hell yeah I want to see more Sublo and Tangy Mustard! :) And Katy too, new job or no. Hard to match the well-planned spontaneity of these. Great as always. Maybe a little better than usual this time too. A little longer. A little stronger. A little different.

Aaron-Long responds:

Haha yeah I think it was the first time I had to draw more than one or two trees and stuff in the show! Took some figuring out. I was aiming for a different feeling with this one, maybe a little bittersweet or melancholy since it's the last one for at least a little while... glad people generally seem ok with it!

man you fucking know I want to see more of this, don't even joke about stopping we aren't stagnated yet.
