Reviews for "City Escape 2"

This was a decently challenging platformer. Not exactly visually stunning, the art style here is really simplistic. But you can tell what everything is, so I'm not complaining.

Now, for mechanics; I would have preferred that bouncing off a cop not be tied to the same element of timing that the vault is. I was thinking the Mario method would have been better. You just jump on them, and that'll bounce you up and away. That would also make getting off the ground if you fall a bit easier, since the later stages, and especially the final one, don't usually give you the space you need to boost yourself back up to the rooftops.

Would that break the challenge? I don't think so. The game gets faster the longer you go without taking a hit, and the levels get a lot less generous with obstacle spacing as you advance. There is the concern that the player would just head-bounce their way through each level, though. I'd suggest maybe an obstacle that punishes them for it-- like a police drone, or birds, or something, that'll slow you down if you bounce at the wrong time.

Anyway, pretty good game. 3.5/5 stars, and have a good one.

This game has HUGE potential, but there are some things that are really annoyingly frustrating about it.
First and foremost, the bottom level of each level. The people down such are such a hinderance that it is almost impossible to get a jump on them because there is so much of them. Next is the lack of combo moves; it seems that there is a cooldown delay between each dodge command, and it gets really annoying when you are trying to go faster.
Other than that, the game is good but the controls needs some work.

pretty good

i already jumped over 10 people and it still says jump over 3 people

I mean, its a fun game and all but half the time vaulting never works.
