i feel really bad for the first yellow guy
Besides the obvious positives of smooth and consistent animation, enjoyable unique artstyle (not that generic Calarts shit or anything similar), script, backgrounds, etc., I need to highlight one thing: the voice acting. It's not good. Not the so-bad-and-out-of-place-that-it's-funny bad, but that it's distracting and dragging the whole thing down. I hate echoing art teachers, but everything has to have synergy for it to work. If everything's firing on all cylinders but one thing is dramatically behind, it sticks out like a sore thumb and lowers the overall quality. I would've put in the effort to find someone who can do at least a little better, in both acting and recording. It doesn't have to be professional quality, especially over something goofy like this. Ignore what the other reviewer "jthrash" said about why characters sound like they do. Having a female or boy sound like a man is standard cartoon fare and it's funny. It's just the acting/recording that needs to match the quality of the rest of the cartoon.

I mean... the kid's got a point. It would be like STILL falling for the "putting the fingers of a sleeping person into a warm bowl of water" trick.
