The animation snaps between really loose and rubbery to very herky-jerky at a moment's notice, not unlike the silliest of Source Film Maker projects. The facial expressions are exaggerated, and the sound effects remind me of Edd, Ed, and Eddy. Those things alone happen to be a guilty pleasure of mine, and they made me laugh a lot harder than I'd care to admit.
Now, I'd be willing to rate at least 3.5 stars for making me laugh, but what really gets me is that, through all the absurdity, and fart jokes, this whole thing is accurate to the movie. Yes, the animation is sloppy, by design, and the dialogue is filtered through your average TTS program, but the dialogue is mostly there, and you still manage to perfectly nail both scenes, and camera shots. It is clear to me that you put a great deal of time, and effort into making this the highest quality, low-quality parody I've ever seen. Honestly, I don't know if that's a good thing, or a really, really bad thing-- and either way, this will be sure to haunt my nightmares for some time.
So, I give you 5 ear-splitting renditions of Circle of Life out of 5. Have a good one, and keep up the good (?) work.
