My big gripe with any game that has an option to run, why wouldn't you run? Unless there's a reason to walk, just make her default movement always the run. Otherwise you're just wasting my time by giving me a slow movement speed, or you're forcing me to hold the shift button all the time.
Otherwise, it's a very compelling prologue. Also, wish you would have mentioned somewhere this is only a prologue. Maybe change title to "Redline - Prologue."
thank you, walking, and switching to running with the key pressed adds atmosphere to the game, this is a point that in my opinion does not need to be fixed. As for the prologue, let the player figure it out for himself, for example by looking at the task Board in the shelter, where many tasks are not available.
Haven't made it all the way through, but it's a pretty cool and atmospheric game! I love the attention to detail, especially with the various animations: I was shocked at how many different animations were created for rummaging through the objects in the apartment when looking for the keys, for example! The story is dark but charming, and it is fun to talk to the various people, though it is kind of hampered by typos and grammatical errors which can take you out of the immersion (there are some graphical issues which cropped up for me as well which hurt immersion). Definitely looking forward to making my way through the rest of this story!
love the quality of the game...But i do have one question... after you get past the contract in the house its done? so its a demo? i was really looking foward to playing the whole game. I do like the story so far its interesting very immersive just it was so short...and no warning that it was going to be short like thanks for playing or anything i sat there thinking it was a loading screen and it kept wanting me to go to the patreon page which i checked out not bad either ... but I just dont feel like i got a real taste of the game...thought it was a whole game. didnt know it was a short demo.. Well i hope to see more one day and from what i seen it was very promising of being a wonderful game with great story and artwork Look foward to seeing what comes out of it... Gave it three cause thats the look I had when i was sitting there waiting for the screen to load..which isnt a bad rating its over half.. Great job whoever made this I really loved everything i could play of it .... wish there was a little more thats all and not leave you like is it loading or is that it? lol thanks for creating keep going with it. I think you are going to do wonders in creating games :)
