Why couldn't David's mom just tell the other moms? You know like "Dave has night terrors and gets up screaming and runs around for a few minutes like that, but he gets better pretty quick." "Does he wet the bed?" "Oh no, he still has bladder control!" "Fine, if it doesn't involve changing the sheets in the middle of the night, our kids can just learn to deal with it."
But NO, I guess David's mom thought that would be a spoiler.
