Reviews for "OTB - America"

Interesting piece of information.

You could have mentioned what exact energy sources stand behind term "conventionaly powered" and what the new ones are powered with. Like most people would guess it's about nuclear but it still needs some uncertainty if you don't mention it.

RadioTubeClock responds:

Like you guessed conventionally powered means the non-nuclear sources of power.

Aircraft carriers are just behemoths of war.

The most dangerous yet awe inspiring place to be is on the flight deck, and you can fell the thundering rumble throughout the ship.

To think they actually retired a ship that could withstand a full four weeks of all-out violence; hadn't been in service more than thirty years... wonder what the average age for a ship is, now, I figured it was more. Figured that once you build something of this caliber you care for it until it either succumbs to enemy attacks or has withered to the point it'd be a hazard to use, bit of a shame it ends like this but... it lives on as a pretty epic monument on the ocean floor at least.

Nice commemoration.
