Really is an awesome retro 16-bit tune.
I have to make an overly-nerdy observation (sorry) about the sampling. It sounds more like a Sega Genesis kind of song just based on hearing the samples used. The SNES had a 16-bit Sony sound chip that could reproduced higher quality sampled sound while the Genesis had an 8-bit Yamaha chip that usually reproduced this kind of slightly down-sampled distorted sound as heard in the drums and PCM tones. I'd even compare it to some of the amazing musical demos heard on the Commodore Amiga also.
Uber-nerd rant over. That said, I reiterate that it's an awesome tune. Please don't hurt me. :3
