The game is neat, elegantly minimalistic. I also broke your game! I managed to block the enemy pawns into a corner and he game crashed.

One small note - if you trap every enemy piece (aka they can't move) the game crashes. I'm guessing this should force stalemate, victory or skip a go?
Its pretty neat
At first I was like "either I'm very dumb, or the AI is very good," but eventually I got the hang of it, and started winning consistently.
I was never very good at strategic board games, see. I normally suck at chess and checkers and any variant thereof. Still, I managed to do quite well in this one, probably because the AI is kind of dumb (quite the opposite of what I originally thought), but I digress.
It's fascinating what depth such a simple board game concept can contain. Having to plan your course of action to not get "flanked" makes for some interesting little tactical tidbits. However, the game feels rather shallow, since every level is just the same level with randomly assigned impassable blocks.
Still, this is an LD entry, so I can't fault it for keeping things basic like that.
Pretty nice game for a few minutes of distraction.
BUG: encircling the enemy and leaving it no free fields to manouver will crash the game, since the script cannot make any more turns.
