Reviews for "Gildedguy vs Oxob"

i saw this on YT

Fantastic and epic, as always! After watching your videos I always get that feeling that I'm missing huge bits of information and I want to see the story behind. Oxob, even though he felt hurt, was clearly trying to help GildedGuy. Why were they travelling together? Why did Jade go after him? I even checked the lore in your website, but it's more of a skeleton and there are lots of bits missing.

One thing that I paid attention to in this is that I don't really get why you made the animation at the beginning and at the end choppy, when the rest of it is super detailed and fluid. And I don't know if the music was always up to par with the sheer power and movement shown in the animation.

Anyways, just my two cents. Regarding the rest... The work shown in this, the fluidity of movements, the camera movement... Everything was superb. Love your work!

gildedguy responds:

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! There are production reasons for the change in style, which is somethin I can try to keep more consistent in the future. The musical track is the first one I've featured that doesn't contain vocals/lyrics, and although it's different from my usual stuff, I hope it grows on you over time.

Always awesome look forward to seeing more of your work

beautiful!

One more possesion and the Gilded Guy can be a proper hotel.

My god... where do i even begin? The animation, how fluent and good it is. How it's perfectly syncs with the music. How i can see hours upon hours of sweat in each of the effects? How the storytelling doesn't stop and doesn't interrupt the action? How without a single word i can see the motivations of both characters even if i haven't seen anything else? EVERY SINGLE THING IS GOD DAMN PERFECT.
I'd argue that music was a bit... underwhelming compared to the previous choices, but then i've listened it with the good headset and the FAT BEATS just blasted me backwards in the chair. I'd still prefer it ending on a loud clash, rather than fading to black, but hot damn it's still good.
Thank you for putting out this miracle.
