It's about time I left a descent review on this.
Here's an honest review. I'm even listening over and over again to make sure I'm not missing anything.
The lead at the very beginning is quite annoying. Too much gliss on it. There is some sort of string pad in the background, but I can barely hear it, the intro would probably sound a lot better if it was more dominant. Right now the levels are a little goofy.
The way the rhythm was introduced at 00:12 was not very good. Perhaps try a low cut filter fade in with the kick, and a high cut filter fade in with the hats.
By now my head is throbbing from the pain your lead at the beginning has caused me.
00:26 was anything but smooth. There was no transition, just a few notes from the previous stated lead. The new leadsynth sounds like something out of z3ta+, and it's just playing the exact same melody as before. I don't know about you, but I want a new melody. or at least some sort of harmony.
The offbeat synthbass is quite empty, there's no real 'bass', it's just low mids and a little bit of bass, but nothing to really characterize it as 'bass'.
The way you make the hats and clap come in and out between 00:38 and 00:44 is somewhat sad. You could've stuck some funky fills in there, as well as FX.
Once again, no real transition at 00:50, except for the leadsynth fade out.
OMG, it's that string pad I heard at the beginning, all alone! :[ I think it's lonely. Pretty much the same rhythm as the beginning too.
The timing for everything to come back in is all fucked up to be quite honest. I feel as if this song has no real structure at all.
Oooo, a piano! Too bad it's a bit distorted, too many mid frequencies.
The fade out is a little pathetic as well. You shouldn't need to fade out a song to consider it an outro.
So, as a summary, I found this song to have very little direction, and the balance, as well as variety, was nothing short of disappointing.

I just felt the need to give an honest review, since all I see are people saying how AMAZING it is, when in fact, there are many areas that need improvement.
This is not meant to be harsh, I just need to bring reality back because it really isn't a song that 'stands out in a crowd' per say.
