The game is pretty solid, but the game speed is very inconsistent. I suspect that the game speed is tied to the frame rate, might be worth using delta time to fix that issue.

Yes, unfortunately back when I made this game I made it aaaaall with frame-based timers and stuff :/
I just posted this for fun and was too lazy to rewrite all that stuff. However, I haven't experienced any inconsistent speed issues, so I can't really comment on that.
nice game the screen is way to big to fit so make it smaler nice gameplay like the concept tho i have seen it soo many times but nice game
