Art was kinda iffy in places (The perspective shots especially), but this is the pinnacle of Presentation being everything. Following such a compelling Villain Protag was interesting, especially since we found that out basically immediately, and him earning a place in the stars from his rampage feels downright Epic in the classical sense.

This is a stylized and parodied version of the Alessian uprising against the Ayleid kingdoms, emphasizing the role of Pelinal Whitestrake. ... Who did actually conquer entire kingdoms on his own. The golden bird thing was Umaril the Unfeathered. The white birds at the end are the Sorceror Kings that killed Pelinal in the White Gold Tower when he dissed all the elves and the Sorceror Kings turned back around from fleeing to jump on him and tear his body into pieces, leaving just a head. It was found by his demigod minotaur friend (the winged bull) Morihaus who had a conversation with the still-living head.
This was actually epic. I never knew this style of music existed.
