I can see the influence of the classic Arcade game Galaga, which was also released on the original NES. It looks similar to Galaga, with a little bit of updating. The attacking concept of angering an enemy and using it as a weapon, is questionable. You either love it or hate it.
Takes a little getting used to, but I think you have something going. My advice: Lower the speed and difficulty a little. Keep up the good work.
Honestly its not fun, at least i dont think it is. Its awfuly a complex method to eliminate enemies, and for how much they rush at you to kill you and how many there are the game isn't just easy but compared to the original game its just less fun. At first i thought the "capture" thing was to grant you special limited time powers as a nice mix, but nope. That's just how you eliminate enemies. One by one, until there's no more. Its too time consuming and not very fun.
