Reviews for "Funeral Dirge..."

Is Death really buisness?

I would say it is more of a solemn happening, if you ask me.

Well this is a really epic, depiction of death. Almost like a fallen war hero's, funeral, or scene of death. Alas, it could fit a number of different scenes. Such as a war torn village, on the break of wreckage, and massacre.

Crashing percussion mixed with melodic strings and choir serve to give a war like feel. Soundtrack perfection and sound alike. I feel like I listening to a movie soundtrack.

Thanks. It's good that you feel like it's a movie soundtrack. I want to do something like that someday in the far future.

Hmmm sounds nice

Well it does, however it is short, which make me sad because you could have segwayed into a battle theme after the piano solo. You know using some fast low war drums,a semi fast major 0-4-7 or a minor 0-4-9 scale on the piano, would have sounded really good. But nontheless this has a nice sound to it.

Thanks. I've always been good at slow stuff, but I could use some practice on fast things.

Good sound, clear color

Sounds very nice, I like the piece. What vocal synth did you use? Its quite good. I look forward to listening to your future work.

-Alittle short tho

-Also try building an overarching structure to it, adding the theme melody at the begining then at the climax for exmaple...

The choir was made using a Papelmedia soundfont with four reeverb effects applied to it. Thanks for the review!

Interesting

This intricate piece is very interesting. I do think that the vocals are very well done. it almost reminds me of, well a funeral march and the fall of someone who just couldn't go on. yes funerals are serious and solemn. this was a wonderful piece overall, keep up the good work. you have quite an ear for music.

Wow

Amazing, sounds alot like what one would use in a birds eye view scanning either a battle field pre or post epic battle. Amazing

TheAmateurAnimator responds:

Thanks.
