I always loved this scene because 1. That Nidorino just stands there while kids throw Pokéballs at it, and that is a smugness that I respect, and 2. Red is just that one kid in the gang who is several years older and only hangs out with everyone else to teach them cool Minecraft secrets as they stand amazed at his gaming skills because he wants validation.
Also, amazing job on this; a shame that Game Freak seems to hate the manga's guts.
