Reviews for "Labyrneath II"

A lot of new platformer staples. I liked the first game better because I thought it had more thinking involved in the timing sequences and a lot less luck involved. The penultimate level, had that ridiculous array of spiked balls and flames, that only could be passed if the exact timing was hit, and even then you just had to get lucky and hit jump at the exact pixel to avoid the spike or be held up and get hit with the flames. It was like the classic Ninja Gaiden of the old Nintendo home game where it has that one level where the only way you win is if you hit that one pixel that allows you to catch the ledge to continue.
No need to make it so ridiculous.
Also why is the jungle longer than the temple? She had to traverse the jungle going in. Did completing the journey in the temple trigger the release of the flower monster?
Anyway, loved the game, loved the music, good ideas, but with all of the lucky moments involved, I probably will not be replaying this, anywhere as many times as I did the first version.
To all the people objecting to the opening screen sequence depiction, must not have seen the 1990's box art for the Lara Croft games. This is obviously a tribute to those games, so the opening art is going to be a bit racy.

WOOOO finished both games! That was fun! Nice and challenging. It feels more manageable than the first game in a way.

Too bad we can't play the songs in the tracklist...ah well.

Key to success in this game is a lil bit of patience and mostly timing.

So glad you made a sequel! Music's fantastic, and have yet to try it out! The hype is too real, I just had to make the review before playing lol

edit: playing some more of the 1st level, I love how it started like the 1st game, and then the newness kicked in! Neat visual upgrade and awesome new mechanic of grabbing the vine! Can't wait to play more and beat it!

I LOVE this game!

And the music? Fricken SICK. <3

NICE WORK
