Reviews for "Robin vs Santa Claus"

He looks like a dude with tits.
If that's what you were going with it, at least let him be a little fem boy.

more dots, i don't see enough dots

I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT THE FUCK TO DO

(Whelps)

Never too late to spread Christmas cheer :3

There were some good scenarios here, but I feel like a lot of the animations were lacking in places. I know I'm echoing my last review a bit, but it still might be best to focus on quality rather than quantity.

Reduce the number of animations, and give each loop the attention it needs to stand out.

You could even let the player decide different paths, for example, Robin could reach Santa by going through the toy factory, or taking a secret path through the coal mine. This could help with replay value, and it'd make the game feel longer without having to add more animations.

I really like your characters though, and it's fun to see the shenanigans they get up to, so I'm looking forward to more stuff! :3

Captain-Freeman responds:

thank you, as always you're honest and friendly and I appreciate it. The move from my old CYOA style to the narrative thing we more me trying to spend 2018 to learn how to animate and draw better. there has been distinct improvement, but a lot more is needed and i both accept that, and look forward to seeing what else i can achieve.

but as for adding more GAME, I looked back at my previous works and decided for a few reasons to remake the second robin raid game, people always loved the branching paths and now that my year of self imposed small games for practice is over I can work on something meatier.

again, thank you for all your support and help, it means the world

I love the majority of your games man, not for art, but for gameplay, but this one does not have it, i hope you go back to your older ones

Captain-Freeman responds:

thank you for your honesty. I've lost track of what people originally liked about my work, that being the CYOA element. I can say my next project will very much bring that back
