Reviews for "Soldier's life"

Agreed with most of the other commenters: solid game, needs more art.

Also, it took me a looong time to realize the boxes in the upper left were clickable, and as a result the way xp works was unclear for quite a while. between that and whatever the score is that the gallery is controlled by (self-worth, i'd guess) I feel like the game could use a little more signposting about when changes in progress occur (maybe a short scene where Vanora's expression changes could pop up when that number drops below each threshold, showing her decreasingly confident, e.g.)

Also feel like the numbers could be tuned a bit in terms of progression, but in terms of practical suggestions, I'm not going to be able to contribute much as I've never tried to design the math of game progression.

TL:DR Amazing game. art is the only lacking factor.
Very much enjoyed the game. And it is a actual game not just a slideshow like most of the stuff here. The dialogue and progression were great but the art and the transition between the images kinda soso. Also is Glue supposed to be invisible?
Even after finishing it went in for another round just to see if I could make the story go differently. Left her stats untouched and just wanted to see how big a pot I could pull. My last sortie I managed to tank Vanoras stats from 9/9 to 1 and 0 gaining the surrender, got over 2m gold, 4k rep and had over 100 of each unit at which point it just became a clicking fest. Spent way too much time on this but Im a curious person.
Oh and somehow I managed to get the train wreck ending without once touching her. Prevented her from training and dueled her from start to finish.

Surprising fun since most A rated games miss out on the actual gameplay, but I can see a lot of love and commitment was put into this. I enjoyed it keep it up! *Also want to say you're a pretty good writer, I'd probably read the books you'd make seeing how well written the dialogues are ingame*

love the game

Your best game so far, we need more like this one here.
