There seems to be something wrong with the game. It plays way too fast to be playable.
Edit: The game's speed seems to be tied to your monitor's refresh rate. It runs fine at 60hz but goes completely nuts at 144hz.

This is great! If you added upgrades, levels, and multiplayer, this would be a great game to play with friends.

Multiplayer is something I’d love to experiment with in the future and I can see it working with this game, thanks for the suggestion! The game already has upgrades though, you can buy them from the shopkeeper in the start room.
