Reviews for "Senya and Oscar: The Fearless Adventure"

Wow this is a really well made game. I like how the cat just sleeps while the guy is getting attacked. and I completed the game!

fantastic :D!

I liked it. I'm generally a sucker for these kinds of games, even if they get repetitive, I usually try to get to the end.
But this seriously lacks a saving feature. I played for 40 minutes, more or less, and when I tried to continue, I started from the beginning. There's no way I'm going to spend two or three hours straight playing this, specially bearing in mind how repetitive it is. A shame, really.

It distracted me for 15mn. After those 15mn, I tried to play it like 20 minutes more to see if there was something I missed, but nothing.

The gameplay loop is simple, way too simple. It quickly get boring. I feel like I don't have much choice: it's battle, treasure, upgrade (craft/buy/sell items), then battle again. And that's pretty much it.

I'd not call it a strategy game, as I don't see any kind of strategy in it. It got a very few RPG elements, but let's be honest, it's just a simple clicker/upgrade game. Also a RPG without any engaging story is kind of dull - RPGs get a great deal of value out of the story, settings and characters. Here, I didn't saw any kind of story, characters completely lack personality and the settings is basically an empty land full of hostile creature. I can't relate to those characters at all. They're little more than empty dolls

Music is OK, but it quickly gets boring because of the short phases that repeat too often.
Visually it's cute! That's pretty much the only good point for me.

The UI does it job correctly, but might need some tuning: I sometimes mistakenly sold my newly bought items because a lot of them share the same visuals, making it kind of difficult to see at a glance which one is best.

I'm not sure how I'd improve it. The major flaw seems to be in the core gameplay. Might be my own fault more than the game's haha

Game is alright - would be better if it saved your progress so if you have to leave, you can come back to where you were rather than starting over from scratch.
