The direction keys move you left and right, up is jump and down is jumping down from platforms. V and N are the weapons, M heals you, and B allows you to add the characters you save to your stable.

I dont know why but your art style reminds me of some game I used to play and I dont know the name of it...
Yeah so I forgot what all the buttons did, sorry, so stopped when I couldn't open the first door. The text system should be click-to-advance. Also sound would greatly benefit the aesthetic, something with a trombone perhaps?

Its alright but it need works like fundamentally... If you were take out the art. its a disaster game. I know how construct program and its a fanstaic one at boot. Best way to do it is to take out all the sprite... I know this will be hard... but Do the art last. get the gameplay up to playable state. The Pause during talking need to pause the whole game during it not letting thing to continue because you cant move during talking. I suggest to move this from Collision hit. To collision hit/ Keyboard E and let space bar to progress the chat. That would improve the game by folds. I kinda dig the art a little bit its a cartoonish but movement is a little too how do i put it too much movement and not enough play input to match the onscreen.

Not to be mean or anythiing but the character designs are not very appealing. I understand you want to stand out however the character designs make you stand out in a bad way. from the designs im getting the impression that you are making an adult game. the proportions and the body parts in general look very disgusting. unfortunaetly its not a game that i would come back to whether for a fun experiece or a 'fun' experience. the gameplay so far is a little off with the projectiles not having much of a reaction from enemies. i hope you improve your game however im not sure i will return to it in the future.
