Reviews for "Fish"

Wow that was trippy as always. First off the intro was beyond amaze-tits. It almost felt like I "broke through". Alot of the animation was impressive too. Some ok but doesn't outweigh the tremendous work on the whole movie itself. I kinda didn't see a need for credits in the middle of the short. A bit confusing but not sure if you guys did that to break away from fish and go to robots. Your shorts always remind me of some trippy adult swim stuff. The mixture of fractual and animation (plus live action) just goes to show how many skill sets are on the table. In conclusion this episode got me hooked....(see that was a fish AND drug pun ;). Stay awesome! Look forward to the next one!

Thanks a ton, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I audibly heard myself shout "Holy Shit" at the intro, but it was too late. The voice was no longer my own, or rather it was, but my body was no longer mine to control, and my fleeting consciousness was quickly siphoned into a state of fascination by this piece...

Wowy wow, what to say. This episode features yet another great mix of art styles, contrasting yet complimentary as you can expect from the Flow Down Team, from the fractal digital minimalism of the intro, to the 1930's Fleischer throwback of the end scene.

The humor is varied, classy, but also bizarre and uncanny.

The thematic of this piece ("Fish") caught me off guard, as Flow Down Stream usually displays themes of a more conceptual nature (Se Void, or Existence), so I didn't know what to expect at all... but the end result was quite far from disappointing, and in fact lent itself extremely well to the series' project.

All in all, great episode as always, and I absolutely cannot wait for the Finale of your first season! Pat yourselves on the back, you're doing great work here, and your progress and creativity shows no sign of slowing!

I'm really happy you put the robot clip in there. Also ya'll have some sweet skills with using effects and masking in animations. I'm not totally sure how to express what I'm trying to say - it's like FDS tends to be more playful with animation tools and methods than your typical animation. Visual delicacy.

blub blub fish.

yes yes very good
