Btw, you really want to know why a kamikaze pilot wears a helmet?
Well, here it goes.....
In WWII the planes didn't have a good temperature-regelation inside... So when you were flying high, at a great speed, it could get very cold...
So the helmets they wore were not really "helmets" like a bike-helmet, but more warm things around your head, that kept you from freezing to death => loss of concentration because the cold, when you are flying a plane, could make you crash, even before you can hit the enemy ship...
