Furas responds:

Thanks a lot! Well, that's a good question, I must say I'm not selftaught and I have finished my studies in a school. But if you want to start to animate in a 3D program I would consider join to a school if you can, on-site classes or online schools like Animation mentor, Ianimate, Animun, etc. If you can't afford a course and choose the selftaught way then my advice is to join and be very active in a website like Polycount, Blenderartists, Newgrounds, 11secondsclub or maybe a Discord group, whatever, just to get in touch with people that give you feedback. This is important, at the end this is gonna be the best way to improve, expose yourself to peope that know more than you and get those advices. Start with simple animations and don't go first with a biped rig, on internet you can find rigs prepared for begginers, and above all, be constant, start and finish an animation per week, 2 if it's a long one. Don't mind the quality, sometimes you will do shit in spite of you don't look for it, and people will tell you that. Since you are beginner, start new things every week and keep going, stay that way along a year and you will improve for sure. Finally every person is different, some people need more time to achieve some level and others get it easier, but the important thing is you´re improving for any new animation your doing. In AnimatorIsland website there is a post of 51 exercises to do if you want to use it like a guide. Hope all this helps you!

loved it man

neat. animation looks real smooth and the colors give a real good tron look, but too short. Little more action is all I say.

Furas responds:

Yeah I know, this wasn't supposed to be a round piece, just a piece of action for my demo and nothing more, but I see it's having a good reception. Maybe in the future I could take comething more serious from this.

We don't see a lot of 3d animations on NG,but whn we do it's often good. However there it wasn't good,it was incredibly good. I'd love to see a fully fleshed out version of this ! Keep it up!

Furas responds:

Thansk a lot, and I think the same, I would like to see a full version of this, but Im not sure about it. Right now I have finished my studies and I have some ideas in mind, maybe still working on this in the future or not... I don't sure, but I keep it in mind.
