Iam chosing the wrong upgrades because the level ups come so surprising while Iam mashing the mouse button.
Looks like a "code your first game" thing. Nothing too special but nice if it is the case.

Thanks for the review! I felt like the Level Up text and sound effect gave you enough time to stop mashing before the level up screen shows up, but I should look into it if it caused you grief (maybe its harder if you have sound off) For now, you can use keyboard to fire instead to avoid this problem.

If you are interested, this was actually made in a 2 day game jam where I made the entire engine from scratch. Small scope was a priority, but I definitely added more mechanics than I had time to playtest and fine tune.

Oh wow I really enjoyed this game! Once I got a hang of it I really got into the second-to-second action & choosing my upgrade path felt nice and rewarding. Something I especially appreciated was the banter back and forth at the bottom. It was quick, easy to read and added a lot of flavour to the game overall. I would love to see you expand this game out with a a couple more levels!

A few small suggestions:
- Fullscreen would make this game amazing! (Note I manually went FS with the js console and the game played great! Except that if you stretch the bounds of the canvas it makes it more difficult to get the player right to the borders of the screen)
- I feel like the initial week enemies shouldn't home in on you. This is to make the first wave easier and give the player more time to get used to dodging things in 3D space. Later on you could have enemies with the same HP that home in of course.

I was worried about how the 128x128 screen size would feel on a larger screen, but I could add a fullscreen option if you preferred playing that way.

My goodness, what a crazy game! xD
The graphics look a bit too pixelated, but it's alright since the game takes a very 3D approach which would usually cause lots of lag but the performance on this game was flawless.
I had full control over the ship and liked how you could either control it with the mouse, any keys etc.
It was a bit tough to aim at the enemies most of the time and I ended up dying without having killed to many enemies 0_0 But maybe it's just because I suck xD

Anyways, great 3d-shooter! Would be aweosme if you implemented more features into it to make it even more fun ;)

Thanks! The game has more content the further you get, but perhaps the penalty for death is too harsh as it makes you start the game from the beginning again.
