Reviews for "Gone Fishing"

Radical fishing but it's made for mobile.

I played this on the PC, and I think I would've had more fun if I did so on m phone. That said, I did have fun and enjoyed the game.

A few suggestions: it would be nice if the upgrade page didn't pop up every time, intead there should be a button for me to open that. Also, it would be cool if there was something showing me how far I am from the surface when I'm going up, like there is when going down (when going down that is useless, but would be pretty useful when going up).

Guess I'll try playing this on the phone later...

P.S.: I noticed that there are achievements, but they directed me to a completely different page, why not make them NG achievements as well?

It's alright, but why are you shooting caught fish? Seems odd.

Over 100.000.000 meters ... that's about quarter-way to the moon and still no mermaids and krakens?

I like the art-style very much, but the music started to get on my nerves after a couple of minutes. I'll forgive you the vertical format only because of the vertical action.

Perhaps the hook should be somewhere on the lower half of the screen (instead of in the middle) in order to be able to better anticipate what's incoming. You could include an upgrade like maneuverability (controlling speed).

There is an annoying bug that occasionally disables the upgrade/continue screen from popping up after you shoot the fish, thus forcing you reload the page (Windows 7, in Chrome). Also, occasionally, the upgrade/continue screen pops up before the last fishes even touch the water ...

Cheers,
M

Not particularly fun what so ever. Confused on why it takes longer for the hook to reach the bottom than it does coming up when i get to actually play. No variation, and the hook comes up so fast that all you can do is put the hook to the left and hope to catch something. So even the gameplay portion has nothing to really do. Shooting the fish also seems to not always work. Looks polished, but the gameplay is a borefest.

Okay game - while the premise is fun, the fish variety is lacking and you have little control over what you catch.
