I'm bad at RPGs. Well, except the "Epic Battle Fantasy" series. I did like this. It was a pretty creative one. I remember going to websites like that. Anyway, it was unique.
I liked the music. I'm not into forums of any kind. Well, I was never into this sort of thing to begin with. The layout is great. I just don't think it's great.
First off, a disclaimer: I didn't play the whole game, so my review is not as complete as it could be.
The idea of making the game look like a livestream was interesting, with all the coments and such, even if it was anoying sometimes (adding the option to turn it off was good). It looks quite nice, I think the art could be more detailed but it does look good.
The gameplay is a bit generic, just simple turn based combat, with not many options and it got repetitive quickly (specially with the fact that there's no lifebar for the enemy, so I can't know how long until the end, neither get the energy of being near the end).
And finally, the jokes were not any fun at all for me, as I don't know any of those streamers. I imagine that this game might have been super fun for any fan of them, but they are really inside jokes that someone who has just stumbled upon the game does not understand. In the end this one thing that could keep someone interested in your game that ends up not working or some people.
Seem like a fun game. I think that an RPG was the best way to tell this story. The characters look good, animation and sound are good. I think you could have added some way cooler SFX to the battle sequences to make them look more legendary. I don't really understand what this was based on, but I thought this was fun anyways. The 4x attack is by far the best. Cool game.
Well,your game is good but it would be better if the outside battle controls was without the mouse and then let the mouse controls to the battle.Also i did not get all the references in this game,but thats ok,this doesn't affect anything. well, anyway, Good Job
Hi, as I've said in the game. You can use WASD/Arrow key + Space controls outside of battle, however it's broken for some browsers. If your browser works with the keyboard controls, by all means please use it!

It was okay as far as turn-based fighting goes. I feel this game is less about the actual game and more about the references and Easter eggs, which means I don't get a lot of value. It's obvious the fighting isn't as balanced or fleshed out as it could be, but it was fun enough for me to get all the achievements. I guess that's something? Might be more of just the completionist in me though
Yeah, this was my first time making a game of this scale, balancing stats and abilities was very difficult. But I've gained a lot of experience making it, and I've learnt a lot watching people play it, and from the reviews I've gotten. Hopefully I can put all this knowledge together and make the next thing I make a lot better :)
But yeah, the focus of this game is more the references and Easter eggs. It's a fan game after all and I don't expect everybody to get the references. The some of the streamers themselves, and the community surrounding them have all enjoyed the game - that's good enough for me. I really love the Offline TV/Just Friends community, so I really wanted to make a game for them. It was an itch I was having for a while.
But now I've gotten that itch out of my system, I will be working on more games targeted towards a more general audience. So I hope people will anticipate future games from me :)
