Penguin themed platformer flash. Graphics have a nice use of colors. Gameplay is very similar to Mario 3, but not as good.

Nice art, music, backgrounds, movement, etc.... but why lose your weapons when taking a single hit? Collecting blue coins is impossible without the right weapon.
I thoroughly enjoyed this! The gameplay was fun, and challenging. I loved the imagery of the determined penguin marching out after its ball. Determined and angry. It was adorable. The sound effects (especially the feet) totally sold it. I like the diversity of the power ups, and that the penguin's diet is diverse also. The background animation stands out. The use of multiple film like layers which move at different speeds around a point of perspective is easy to do, but hard to get right. You nailed it. It is reminiscent of some old Commodore games, most specifically the driving stage between main stages in one of the Addams Family games for the Commodore 64. I enjoyed this game and am glad to hear that you are working on a sequel.
A refreshing game
So this was a "REFRESHING" game you have here, I do think you should ad some medals though it would really benifit from some achievments and medals, This is great! I probably only like it because I'm such a huge fan of these types. of games When you combine all the stuff Thats in here you get good results and you have done just that, So props to you on this game, I had a smile on my face the whole time. throughout this flash. I dint find this Lackluster at all and that was a good thing.

This Game Plays like Mario but with some new elements,the Graphics are good and for some reason reminded me of SuperTux,but is not a new idea,but a good game, great job.

Thanks. I was aiming for Mario 3 + Mario World, so yeah... nothing THAT new. There are some newer things later in the game.
