Reviews for "It came from outside"

Dont know If you were aiming for a 80s game aesthetic but great job! It kinda reminds me of the 1981 game "Asylum" :)

Nirag responds:

Yeah, the old school aesthetic was definitely a goal. Never heard of Asylum, I'm checking that out!
Thank you!

At the end i realised i was the killer because my hand was twitching through the the game.
I actually took note of the weird hand movements.
Clever twist with realisation.
Bravo,Bravo.

Nirag responds:

Thank you! Glad you've noticed the detail!

as you play the game you feel like youve just stumbled upon the village, but once you key in on the "hand movements" and then the "he's probably prowling around looking for me", then the game becomes surreal. the dead silence is both unsettling and perfect for this game. amazing job on your first flash :)

Nirag responds:

Thank you very much!

Yeah I had a feeling the main character was the villain. I usually don't experience stories like these often so it feels weird to me. I like the story telling though and wished it was a bit longer. Hard to say what will happen at the end. Maybe the guy survives, maybe the villain won. I don't have a clue how powerful or mutated the guy is.

I always enjoyed reading text and interacting with the environment evne if people think its a chore to read pages of text or whatevs. To me those are some of the best elements of a game. Never hurts to learn more about the world in the game.

Even though there's no music, it was still good.

Nirag responds:

Thank you! I think the same... the lore in a game is an important part!
Hope I'll manage to put at least some ambience sounds in my next games!

I love the horror aspect of this game. At the end, you don't even get killed or something like that for a dramatic finale. Everything's just... quiet. Nothing happens and you're left wondering. I love that type of game! Excellent work!
