Hello ManyWoundZ! I am glad to announce you that your're on the right path XD. Hapy to see that you decided to follow you dream and become a game designer.
As for the game... since this is a prototype I won't be too harsh. I noticed there is lag in almost all the areas, except for the cave. The player moves quite slow because of it and can be a bit annoying. The enemies just fly around as you said so that's a confirmation. I would sugest to not let the magic atack be spammed in the final product since that would be too easy for beating the game. Also, the enemies have a ton of health, an upgrade system would be great.
The NPC's are alright, however being an RPG I would have made the character dialogue image a little bit more cartoonish, it's just too realistic. Not saying that it is bad, you clearly nailed the pixel art, just don't think it is suitable for this kind of game. A little bit more dialogue could also help, instead of only one string use more just to add some spice to it.
It's responsive, so that's a plus. It doesn't crash even if it shows some lag. It is a good start, not a perfect one but a good enough to say that this could be a front page game in the future. Thanks for sharing and to those people who agree with me go fund hm over on Patreon!
P.S. The title screen could use some more work, just saying... :p

Now for your concerns, I'm not sure if you read the description but it covers some of what your explaining that is happening. When I exported the game through HTML5 it caused all the errors you seem to be having trouble with. For the FULL and better experience check out the EXE version that is on my Patreon.

For the NPC pictures, they are only placeholders right now. The only one that is close to the style that I'm going for is the cat girl in the forest across the bridge to the left of the map.

The magic spam I simplyed added for fun. Nothing to indept, the real magic will work a you would expect, and have other uses rather that just attacking.

Also not sure if you tested the mining and the woodcutting. You can level up your skills as well. If you press "i" and then "Right" you will see your skill levels. Just a fun fact if you haven't found it yet. Sorry don't have instructions or tutorial yet to show the mechanics. Mostly like will be one of the things i will implement next.

The HP for the monters are low I feel, becaues if you pick up a weapon of or level up. You kill them quick or in one hit. Did that so people can get the feel of the level up system and collect item they drop.

For the dialogue, haha yeah that one is a tough one. I'm trying to figure out how to get them to say different things on different conditions. Will definitely work on that to not be so plain in the Alpha build, but of course, they are placeholders as well.

The title screen is also a placeholder. XD I'm sure we all know this. Just stating so that it is clear to those that don't understand. No worries!

Again thank you for taking the time to review my game! I'm using Newgrounds as a way to brings eyes to what I'm working on. I hope that I can reach my goals, which will eventually be to pay for a professional programmer to work with me to see this eventually become a full title on the steam store in hopeful 2 to 4 years. Nothing is set in stone though, but my determination will never let me give up!
