Game play was interesting and engaging. I was glad that there was seagull which gave me pointers when I didn't know what to do next. Sound effects are great. Graphics and animations are nice. Story ends well. I like that we could fight against the thief in a creative way. With trials and errors, I managed to return to the bay.
This game is simply wonderful! The music and art style work extremely well together and often times are quite nostalgic as they resemble music from other games in similar genres. There are so many small details to discover and the game as a whole has a great personality. The puzzles were never too easy but were not frustratingly hard either. Overall, for what it is, this game is near perfect!
I'd have kept that boat and sail around the sea to find my own island.
This has to be my favorite game on Newgrounds. The characters are so lovable (well, maybe not all of them)(That kid on the docks.. Man, I felt sorry for him....) The story is simple, but nice. The music gives me old-school gaming vibes (Paperboy mostly, because Benson has a bike). Oh, and don't get me started on the artstyle. Gorgeous!! Real nice man, keep it up!
