Reviews for "The Tweet Before Christmas"

Animation was great. Voice work was a little fuzzy; subtitles might have helped. Seemed like a mic quality issue.

You know, because this is a review, and not a comment.

Just kidding, this flash was some of the best shit I've seen all year. I'd been hoping for some strong content this holiday season, and this submission hits on all artistic cylinders. It's aesthetic as fuck, the message is timely and necessary.

I'm sharing the shit out of this.

a perfect representation of how westen society works while fighting eachother while the rich corporations watch as the normal people struggle against one another saying "Oh yes we have one only the battle but not the war"... in any case good animation representing how people also fight on the internet via Twitter facebook and really not giving a sht about real world ... masterfuly done my friend :) and btw Happy Holidays

Holy shit.

That quickly turned out from being a nice Christmas story to a horrific Halloween story...based on Christmas, but it was true to the word and it was better than I can describe. I've been sitting for 5 min. with this comment now, just looking and thinking how to reply to this video and I can't think of anything that would be good enough. It was very smooth animation though, I can only imagine it took a looooong time to make and you did great. Merry Christmas * or late merry Christmas depending on when you read this *

I am so glad that you are still doing animations. Everything you've done has had such a vision and every time I'm surprised by the effort that you put into it to meet your own impossible standard. I felt the need to write this review because the idea for this animation was a perfect storm to be fucking terrible. A political, musical, Christmas animation in which you don't take a side or make one seem more right than the other has everything going against it; if any one thing wasn't perfect, it would all fall apart. But it didn't, it kept everything and I'm glad. Tarboy was one of the first animations I ever saw on Newgrounds, and I had a day recently where I went back and watched all of the classics to see if they held up, and I remember feeling relieved that it was still timeless and inspiring, even if everything other than Bitey had lost a bit of its luster, at least to me. I know this is probably not an appropriate time to comment something like this, in the wake of "Santa was pissed, so he lit a blunt and cancelled next Christmas," but I probably wouldn't remember to tell you at any other time. You're a huge inspiration. Merry Christmas, please send me 1 cent via Flint's Paypal.
