Reviews for "Internet Simulator 2K18"

I gotta be blunt, kid. You've been brainwashed. Head over to Reason magazine sometime and read their pieces on net neutrality. Also, realize that both conservatives AND libertarians oppose net neutrality. The only ones who support it are teeny boppers, Hollywood celebrities, mainstream media and giant online monopolies like Facebook and Google. Think about that ...

OfficialBoxingwolf responds:

Well to be fair, is this not an accurate representation of what these laws may represent? I'm not entirely one way or another on this issue. However, I do oppose Ajit Pai, and I will be clear about that. He is, to put it nicely, an unkind person, as evidenced by his "7 Things You Can Still Do After Net Neutrality." I don't live Freedomâ„¢, but in Canada, I support the conservative party a fair bit more than the Liberals (at least in the present political climate.) But beyond all of that information, I couldn't care less who says or does what as long as it doesn't affect me or anyone I know, and repealing net neutrality does indeed affect me. The FCC has made a horrible mistake by reversing laws for no good reason. If I have inaccurately presented these reversals within this game, I am sincerely sorry, but I don't believe I have. The game demonstrates a dystopian near future which is possible, albeit unlikely. If any of the things demonstrated in this game are entirely impossible, again I am sorry, but as far as I know, they are. The same goes for a game like Fallout; is that kind of future possible at any given moment? Ignoring safeguards, yes beginning with the advent of the atomic bomb. Is it likely? That's debatable. But this short game is much like that, in the way that is represents a hypothetical near future without net neutrality. Despite all this, I did check out Reason magazine, and I am intrigued. I won't be changing my stance anytime soon, but I think Reason is a good liberal magazine to potentially investigate further.

The fact is, I only believe what I can see with my own eyes. I encourage you to take a look at this article I found rather easily. I have no idea where the L.A. Times are on the political spectrum, as I don't read their articles. However this site... http://www.latimes.com/business/hiltzik/la-fi-hiltzik-portugal-internet-20171127-story.html
...Is an interesting look at Portugal's internet, without net neutrality.

Make no mistake: I have not been brainwashed. I make my own conclusions, and from what I can tell, net neutrality seems like something that should be kept. Beyond all that, thanks for taking the time to review my game, and thanks for your input.

A nice game, even if it's some random short thing, it's cool ^^
