Reviews for "A Platformer for Ants"

Quite an interesting concept that has been executed pretty well honestly. I only wish that it were longer!

Not sure what the other complaints are about. Controls are good and I didn't have any problems with the environment. What's most shocking is how much replay value this 2 minute game has. Way to leave us wanting more. Love the overall concept and execution, I hope you build on it.

by far one of the worst platforming games i have played on this site
slippery platforms
terrible hit detection
no way to kill enemies
barely to no checkpoints
over use of the most pathetic obstacle spikes
terrible graphics even for an 8bit game

I gave it a 0 at first due to problems people have mentioned before (splipery, leaps of faith, didn't know I could not kill slugs) but after I gave it a second try, I want to tell you it has a LOT of potential. Really good concept, I mean it relies on the user's hardware but at least it's something new!

The weird slippery nature of the edges of some platforms made certain parts of the game way more frustrating than they have any right to ever be, the fact that you can't see where you're going until you take that leap of faith into the next room, where spikes might be, also just strikes me as terribly unfair when playing through the game for the first time.

Other than that, though, it's pretty neat.
