a brilliant and yet simple puzzle game that is challenging but not too difficult. i love the art style and the game's theme fits the Halloween Season very well. wish there was more levels, this is a great start. keep up the awesome work :D
This is a great games that makes you think but not so difficult that you have to look up how to even get started.
Clever and very nice. This game follows the gameplay style of good old Factory Balls, but with an adorable Halloween charm to it that works very well. Too bad it's so short.
The presentation is a simple, unpretentious child-friendly Halloween presentation that I really enjoy. Some simple autumn trees, stone and cute ghost with a simple style, plus the pumpkin, witch hat, and paint cauldrons make for a cute graphical presentation, while the simple, enjoyable Halloweeny music goes along with everything nicely.
In the vein of the aforementioned Factory Balls, the objective of this game is to paint objects in order to get a certain desired pattern. You may need to selectively cover certain parts of the object to get a desired outcome, and sometimes you'll need to stop and think in order to figure out a way to do things. None of the levels in this game is extremely hard, but some provide food for a few minutes of thought.
The one thing I wish this game had is more levels, featuring different tools that make the game harder. As it is, it's already a lovely and charming piece, and being a game jam, it's understandable that it's so short, but maaaan, I didn't get my daily puzzling fix from this, and now I'll have to dig elsewhere.
Regardless of the length, this is a very nice little game. As adorable and charming as a puzzle game can be, while still providing a bit of challenge.
