Promising, but it needs work!
I'm sorry to say that this just doesn't capture the atmosphere of the classic platformer shoot-em-up game(s)! The sprite animations need work and every time I kill an enemy he just keeps reappearing. Secondly, as I progress further through the level, there's nothing but A LOT of black space! Still, I understand that this is supposed to be a demo. I hope that if you do complete the full version to fix all the bugs, improve the animations, and capture the right elements that made the original games good!
