Reviews for "HE BEAT HER."

Really liked the game the art was beautiful and I enjoyed the gameplay

I disagree with the reviews that say an index is necessary. I think that would take all the challenge out of the game. If you really need an index of commands to get through the game then just look at the walkthrough. Just a hint: if you look at the list of suggested actions 'observe' is one of them. It's very helpful. You get all the visual clues you need if you use the observe action.

There were a few bugs I found. Sometimes when talking to the prosecutor about the dog the game overlaps like she will tell her story in the dialogue box but the game screen will move forward to the sentencing and game over screen. Another one is when I go to put in the follow up to the action, when I accidentally press enter before typing the box to type in will disappear and it will leave just the background and I have to refresh and start again.

Very good stuff. Very hard to guess some parts of it...

I love this game. The art is gorgeous. I wish there were visual clues, because I had no idea there was a purse or a phone in the room until I observed the prosecutor.

I wish there was a list of commands, because then the story would seem less arbitrary, but I still think this game is good enough to get a 4-star rating from me. This game deserves a Daily 5th Place award, even if the story is pretty arbitrary.

almost amazing
music , art , story PERFECT

but the most important thing .... the gameplay!!! ........!!!
nope!!!!!!

but amazing art!! <3

The art and visual design of the game is beautiful. I would not change a thing, so great job! It was beautiful to play.

Constructive Feedback:
I agree with Lamia-Damia's comment, the gameplay was not intuitive enough. Maybe next time you can include an index in the game of possible words/actions to try, because without that the player is overwhelmed by possible choices (literally there are over 1,000 words we could try and without you limiting what we can do, we're kind of lost..).

However, I think an index would not be enough. I feel as beautiful as the game is, there is a need for visual clues to. How were we supposed to know there was a purse involved if we can't see one and we may have to try over 20 different words and scenarios to learn about a purse?

Overall, I felt like it was difficult and a hassle to try to play. I think the game was beautiful, and I would be able to play it with the walkthrough, but without, it would be a little frustrating because the game isn't intuitive enough to players because it lacks guidance, visual hints/clues, etc.

Thanks for making the game though, it was very well done.
