Basically its going to be a full game with a good story for free, can't get much better than that.

I can definitely see your influences in this game. It's completely based off of the 999/Virtue's Last Reward/Zero Time Dilemma games.
I would go ahead and say this is also based on some other notable manga games where you wake up in some odd building with strangers and have to make it out alive, but those are mainly murder mysteries where the people vote on the one they believe to be guilty. Judge and Dangonronpa come to mind when I think about this.
I like that you've created this, it's a wonderful homage. However I'm not one for tropes. The old person who knows nothing about technology (even though it's supposedly set in the year 2019, she should be old enough to know what a computer image looks like, even if she's in her late 50's, early-mid 60's). So far I can't peg her character other than being the typical "geezer" who can see though behavioral gestures rather than technological problems. And if it turns out she's a biochemist of any sort, I'm calling BS on her inability to know what a computer image and synthetic voice are.
The protagonist who has no goal in life (seriously. If you major in English, you may as well either major in Liberal Arts or just drop out). Very typical of Junpei.
The "shy" girl next door type (well, this usually turns out to be a farce and she ends up being some sort of mastermind. Even so, the fact that you have a White girl displaying Japanese mannerisms bugs me. It's like how Japanese game makers can't seem to get themselves out of this "princess" hole they've placed women in where they're either shy & meek or brash & spoiled. And it always surrounds either Japanese girls or White girls. Sorry for that bit of a rant. I'm just tired of the same tired imagery from the same stagnant cultural stance. Anyway, we know who that's based off of. Akane.
We clearly have our "Clover," sans Snake. But Clover was cooler.
The Rae is like a mix of the detective, Seven (forgot his actual name), and the security systems programmer, Lotus (forgot her actual name too).
Anyway I like the puzzles. I'm a avid fan of mysteries, so I've clearly placed this on my Favorites list. I look forward to more updates on this game!
I suspect Aether from the 1st chaper. With each chapter my suspicion rose. I wish there was a real interrogation scenario.
Excellent Work. It is very rare to see free visual novels with such outstanding content online. Not only the plot is engrossing, the characters are genuine, each of them with their own distinct personality. Can't wait for the upcoming chapters. Please keep up the good work!
