Reviews for "Sans Custom Battle"

The games mechanics are really janky and when an attack starts I don't have a good enough reaction time to see the attack coming. Please fix the game.

this game is hard and good game ;)

Okay, these attacks come in far too fast for any sane human being to react to in time, even if they've seen all of the possible patterns before. Even holding down a certain movement direction only helps half the time, and the other half, you either get hit with a too-fast-to-react-to bone gap attack, or have to deal with a curvy corridor of wonky hitboxes with jittery movement.

Speaking of movement, as stated before, just moving feels a bit... Imperfect, in a way I can't quite describe. Jumping, however? That, I *can* describe... As too quick going up, and I think I remember it being too quick going down, too. All in all, it's far from a perfect recreation of the 'Blue Mode' physics in the original game.

Timing your attacks doesn't matter, either. Dead center? Somewhere in the green? Flat-out red zone? All the same damage. You might as well not have even included the minigame.

Acting doesn't seem to do anything, either, aside from Check. If Talk and Pun *do* work aside from just displaying some text that's the same each time you perform the action, there's no indication that any progress is happening.

If you're lucky enough (and I *do* mean lucky; that plus crack reflexes are the only way you're seeing the end of this failed experiment), you aren't going to be very satisfied with the ending of Sans trapping you in a small box and dunking on you, whereupon the uninspired credits screen shows up, followed by a bland, unsatisfying 'thanks for playing.'

I'd have provided a spoiler warning, but this kind of thing that already spoiled itself (and soured the mood of many a player, I'd wager) doesn't even deserve to have been saved from being under judgment.

If you're going to make more Undertale fan-battles, then, please, for the good of the fandom's name, at *least* fix the gameplay issues (movement, hitboxes, etc.) and give people maybe... Half a second more to see things coming to react to them properly. Do that, and you'd probably not see as many well-deserved 0-star reviews.

Until then, maybe stick with creators and simulators. That seems to be your field of expertise.

some attacks can't even be avoided bro wtf
